Terms of Service

Last updated October 8, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Sans Software LLC ("we", "us"), which operates Cutzo on iPhone, on the web and at cutzo.app. By creating an account or using Cutzo, you agree to them.

Who can use Cutzo

You must be 18 or older to use Cutzo. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for everything that happens under it.

Your videos

You own the videos you upload and the edited videos Cutzo makes from them. You give us permission to store, process and transcribe them only to provide the service to you. We do not use them to train AI models and we do not share them publicly.

You are responsible for what you upload. You must have the rights to it, including the consent of anyone who appears in it, and it must not break the law or anyone else's rights. We may remove content or close accounts that break these terms.

Automated edits

Cutzo uses speech-to-text and AI to decide what to cut, and can write scripts and captions for you. It will sometimes get things wrong. Review your video and any text before you post it. You can bring back any cut line or word in the editor.

Plans and edits

The free plan includes 3 edits. Paid plans include a monthly number of edits, or unlimited edits on Studio. An edit is counted when you submit a video. Re-rendering a video after you change it is free. Unused edits do not roll over. Videos can be up to 15 minutes long and 1 GB in size.

Trials, billing and renewal

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time from Settings on the web. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the trial or the period you already paid for. Deleting your account cancels your subscription right away. Deleting the app does not.

Payments are not refundable and we do not give credit for partial periods, except where the law requires it. If you were charged by mistake, or Cutzo did not work for you, email support@cutzo.app within 14 days of the charge and we will review it. Your rights under consumer protection law are not affected.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Cutzo. That includes trying to get around plan limits, sharing accounts to do so, reverse engineering the service, overloading it, uploading malware, or using it to process content you have no right to use or that is illegal.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account deletes your videos and transcripts. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and we may change or stop parts of the service. If we shut Cutzo down, we will give you notice so you can download your videos.

Disclaimers

Cutzo is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Indemnity

If someone makes a claim against us because of content you uploaded or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it, to the extent the law allows.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Courts in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either side may bring a claim in small claims court where it qualifies. If you live in a country whose law gives you the right to bring claims at home, you keep that right.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Cutzo after that means you accept the new terms.
